I am a personal trainer specializing in weight loss, corrective exercise, performance enhancement, and nutrition. My certifications include International Sports Science Association (ISSA) Personal Training, Fitness/ Exercise Therapy, and a Specialist in Fitness Nutrition. I am also certified in Corrective Exercise from the Cooper Institute. In addition, I am currently pursuing a degree in nutrition and becoming a Registered Dietitian.
I am very well versed in the mechanics of the body. Through certifications, as the protege of an experienced personal trainer, and through my own experience I have learned the proper methods of weight lifting and exercise. With these and new methods I can provide the best possible service to my clients. I have personally tested nutritional programs so I can help clients avoid dietary or training pitfalls. I am a strong believer in practicing what I preach. I will never have a client do something that I have never done personally.
I am a very friendly and easygoing person. I am very patient, I do not get angry or frustrated very easily. I do tend to get very intense over things that I care about or spark my interest. I don’t like to stop a job or task until I know it has been done to the best it can be. I believe in teaching in a gradually increasing method which tends to work best for most people. I am a very hands-on person, which I find is the best learning and teaching style for me.
